I bought these as gifts for a girl's weekend! We painted by a lake and everyone enjoyed it.

Love it! My daughter took it to travel in Argentina this summer. She has been sharing painting experiences with local children.

I ❤️ my kit & all the workbooks! I have bought kits for my granddaughter & 3 nieces, & several friends. The intention is to paint rather than spend so much time playing on my phone plus connecting to my girls a bit more.

I'm enjoying the beginner's book for the ideas of what to paint. It's great for practicing techniques.

I love the set. It is as described and it is fun to use. I would have given 5 stars but my Beginner Workbook began falling apart less than a week after arrival. Clumps of pages are falling out of the binding.

Note- the paper quality is great. The paint brush pens work and its relaxing as stated. Just one major flaw.

Octogenarian here..thought I’d try this for small hand, finger therapy as well as the joy of such a simple pleasure. It is somewhat difficult to unscrew the water pens and the foil cap coveting the paint tubes on SOME of tubes is beyond difficult to peel back, even with the use of tweezers and my husbands help..definitely quality control problem but solved by using a pin to poke a hole thru the resistant glued on foil. Also I used a dab too much of water on one spot and if you look carefully you can see the paper finish rubbed off some when I went to blot it. That said, if you don’t mind risking wrestling some paint tubes ( just get a needle or pin to poke a hole) this was quite enjoyable and brought me back to college art classes in the 1960’s. I thought I did just fine.

Absolutely LOVE the Mother’s Day book! Rubio is the BEST!!

Great little kit. It’s calming to sit and paint while on the beach or boat. It’s so portable. The patterns give a starting point and then you can add your own creativity. We need more creative outlets to get us off electronics.
