Embroidery Magnifying Glass

These were purchased as gifts for young girls who are interested in learning to cross stitch. Their granddaddy encouraged their interest in owls by watching baby owls hatch.

When I saw this little owl magnifying glass on sale, I thought it was cute, and that it would be a good thing to have. I didn't really know how I would use it. I have wet macular degeneration, so I have the owl hanging around my neck, and whenever i have to read a tiny notation in my Bible, or teeny tiny sets of instructions, or the expiration dates on bottles of Caesar dressing, I use the magnifying glass. It has so many more uses than just for embroidery. And did I say how cute it is? Well, it is!!! I love it. I highly recommend it.
