I ordered the watercolor kits for me and my daughters, to have a fun get-together over Pumpkin Spice season. I also ordered enough to send one for my kids out of town that could FaceTime with us as we painted together. They all commented that they'd seen them online and how fun they looked. They didn't disappoint! All the supplies came with each kit and careful instructions were included. The wrist band for cleaning your brush was very creative! The brushes designed to carry the water make the whole experience easy to take with you, as well as having the extra brushes that came free with the different tips make the whole experience that little bit extra. The two things I didn't like, which caused the 4 stars rather than 5, is that you have to BOGO the kits. I needed an odd number of kits so now I have an extra. That sucks. Yes, I can gift one, but I'd rather not have the expense. The second thing that wasn't clear to me was the beginner's paint book doesn't come with the kit, you have to order that extra. I couldn't afford to put out for the kit AND the beginner's workbook. Thankfully, the first few pages of the kit's book come with predesigned pages so you can paint with help and guidelines rather than just all blank pages. Being as we were all beginners, it would be nice to have that book as the one that comes with the kit, with the blank page books available to purchase. We will all enjoy the kits, and some will continue to use them. It was a fun day planned with purpose. We can come together again to celebrate another day together. Because the kits came as I described above, I also sent an email out to the kids with links of YouTube videos for beginners to learn watercolor. Amazon also has a few books with lightly drawn pictures to follow so you don't have to feel bad that you suck at watercolor. Lol! I recommend the kits. They are fun and a great medium to bring people together, just as advertised.

I really like the idea of these, but one of the two palettes I ordered wasn't cut evenly and won't close flush. It rocks when closed so the magnets don't hold tight and it tends to pop open when transported.

A lovely little kit that inspires creativity with little pre-drawn pictures. A lovely distraction when needed!

I'm having so much fun teaching myself watercolor with this kit. I love that they are wet paints, opposed to the classic chalky palettes that are more widely available.
